are set to release their sixth studio album
titled, Robot Hive / Exodus. The album
was prodcued by J. Robbins (Jawbox, The
Dismemberment Plan) and recorded at Bearsville
Studios in Woodstock, NY, and mixed at
Water Music in Hoboken, NJ.
The follow-up to the acclaimed Blast Tyrant,
Robot Hive / Exodus firmly implants Clutch
as one of the most talented hard rock bands
making music today. With wildly creative
songs that feature amazing musicianship
and thought-provoking lyrics, Robot Hive
/ Exodus solidifies Clutch’s hard
rock legend status. The band will showcase
their new material on the upcoming ‘Sounds
of the Underground’ tour which they

UPDATE
FROM JEAN PAUL - (3/8/05) - From
the man:
As
for the album, things are looking
very good. The drum tracks are all
put down. The next couple days up
here in Woodstock will be jam days.
So far we have put down 15 tunes
and a couple jams in about 4 days.
I expect today and tomorrow should
be just as fruitful. We begin overdubs
next week. The album is to be delivered
to DRT in April for a July/August
release date. No titles as of yet.
It seems the tunes are heavier and
bit more "out there" than
Blast Tyrant.
The DVD is coming together. The Flint
show is cut and looks raw! We have our
director/editor friend Marco out here
filming a good bit of
"in the studio" type stuff.
This thing is completely homegrown and
self financed. It’s slow going,
but we are confident the end result will
be very cool indeed.
We look forward to putting these projects
to rest and hitting the road.

my name is B.D. and I am a graphic design
student at Fort Hays State University in
Hays, Kansas. In one of our classes we were
assigned to make a music video interpreting
lyrics to a song of our choice. The catch
was we were only allowed to use type. An
"animated typography" project
if you will. Anyway, I chose to use "Animal
Farm" to make my video. I thought Clutch
fans out there, and even the band members
themselves might like to see it.*
